Featured on our streaming release schedule across various Discover Wisconsin digital platforms, this short episode featuring Portage County was filmed in the late summer of 2022. As a part of the Uniquely Wisconsin series, the County chose to highlight the Kochanowksi family who are known for creating meaningful reminders of their Polish heritage throughout the County. Portage County is home to many Polish immigrants and this story shows the roots of just one family doing its part to keep the legacy alive.
